Non-GMO Project Shopping Guide App Reviews

The list of retailer/ suppliers is daunting. Could it use the users location and shorten the list to only show the ones in the vicinity of the user? Thanks

I like the app, but it seems for Canadian consumers not very good to find retailers. It keeps crashing when I want to find out where The Big Carrot is located. Also missing some known health food grocery stores in Hamilton and Newmarket, On. If it did not crash and it showed more Canadian health food markets I would rate it a 5 star.

Does not work anywhere in Canada. Im very disappointed... Especially since you invite users to input their Canadian city a/o province. Then? Nothing for Canada (at all)!!!

The app requires a serious update and iPad and iOS 6.1 compatibility, to stop the constant crashing, as well as more up-to-date information.

I like it, but living in Canada I cant really get full benefit out of it

the app freezes on startup on my iPhone with IOS 7. I hope this gets fixed soon as I look forward having this tool available.

It says its good for North America but I tried several products and never came up with a single result.

Stores with "the" as first word in their name are filed under T So out of date, as is the App. No way to search geographically

Excited to download this and start eating better. Bar scanned about 10 products in my house and none of them showed up in the database (so I could not tell if they had gmos or not). Was disappointed in this. Havent tried the rest of the app yet so I rated it 2 stars so far.

Useless app in Canada. Tried 10 products from Costco. I got no return whatsoever. Not impressed. Good idea, got excited and now Im super disappointed.

I love your project and I love the fact that I can check the database while doing my shopping.... BUT, the latest version has many bugs and is now completely useless... The database keep loading and loading and crash after couple of minutes... Please please please fix this...!!! Thank you..!!

Dont threat yourself with poison GMO products. Get rid of them! This app can help you pick only non-GMO products for your life.

It says theres is a huge update. Then after refresh was initiated it downloads a huge amount of data, but at some point it crashes. Tried multiple times, no luck.

The app is pretty easy to navigate and understand, but it doesnt have any guide with tips or list of crops like it says it does in the description. I have clicked through every tab and every setting only to be unable to find this. I really wish it was there as it would be very useful to have. The other reason I only gave it 3 stars is that in my area I only have one store verified by them and previously I had never heard of it, let alone been there to check out the store. Because of this I didnt rate the app higher since for me I cant really use it to its full advantage. Hopefully that will change if/when gmos become less common in our food.

This new version does not work on my iPhone 6 running iOS 9.
