Non-GMO Project Shopping Guide App Reviews

The update to this app continues past its first designated bytes and continues without ending. Then starts the original update the next time this app is opened. Needs a software fix!

The app seems to only be searching for foods that are Non-GMO Project Verified. If thats the case then Ill just look at the package for the project verified label. The app doesnt list GMO products so when scanning something the only thing that can possibly be learned is that a product may not have updated packaging while the app may have been updated. Slim potential for usefulness, but if they expanded it to beyond their project then it would be very useful.

Love this app.

So far, I have nothing from this app, i.e., “UNKNOWN” product on almost everything I scan. AND, that includes items that have the Non-GMO Project label on them. Really not a good app.

the individual has power with this scanner. Monsant (o) cant poison youre ability to make educated choices

This new version does not work on my iPhone 6 running iOS 9.

I read the list of verified non-GMO products and decided to test the barcode scanner around the house on products that are on the verified list. Not a single product was found in their database via barcode, even though listed by name within app, so its kind of pointless.

This app needs serious improvement. Scanned over 30 products and none were found. Not worth downloading.

I love the attempt to protect us against evil Monsanto poisoning us all. Simply put........doesnt work. Hopefully they will keep working on this.

non work is stup....

I really need an app like this as I am just beginning to start the transitioning the food my family eats to non-GMO/organic but I could not even get the scanner to work. Hugely disappointed.

I really want to like this app. However, when I downloaded the app, I was unable to access information due to the database needed to be updated to the current version. Sure, no problem. HUGE PROBLEM! Every time it would get about 80% done, the app would crash and the download would restart. The app is not useable. Hopefully, when they fix the bugs, I will use again. I will stick to my buycott app.

This app is not yet what it hopes or even claims to be. Its in need of an update, but it crashes each and every time. The scanner does not work on any product- even the already verified products. Ill be sticking to the CFS App. Theyre awesome and have great customer service!! Once this app is good to go, Ill add it back.
