I emailed the company a few days ago and they said the developers are aware of it and are working on a fix.

Unusable. It says that a large update needs to run but it crashes every you try to run it.

App was great until they updated it and the rendered it useless.

Same problem as everyone else. Had to delete the app to get it to stop. Any alternatives out there? Got no response to calls or emails.

guys, theres gmo in this book. I scanned the barcode, it has to be true.

This is a user friendly, quality app taking on an ambitious project. I also had trouble with the update, but am confident it will be resolved. I love the report feature and that scanning one product beings you also to a list I other verified products by the same manufacturer.

Tried to update it crashes so deleted and tried to reinstall now App Store says not available?

I downloaded this app 10 hours ago. A message says not to use until the latest upgrade is downloaded. It is still doing so after 10 hours. Bye til fixed.

I really like this app but when I click on it, it says that there is a large update. Then it says that there is 41,000 out of 41,000 that needs to update. Then you click on to update then it can update for hours. It says 100,000 out of 41,000. Then it just closes. If you open it again it starts all over. I like this app but something is very wrong with it.

The app database attempts to update with over 40,000 items. After leaving it on overnight, it was over 200,000 and still going. Deleted the app until the developers are able to fix. Otherwise, the previous version of this app worked well.

This app just cannot update. It applies thousands more updates than it states it needs then the next time I use it it tries to update again. The last update has bricked this application.

I use to love this app-used it EVERYTIME I shopped. But the update it forces you to do is not working...Says 40000 but after hours it is now up to 180000..? I will download it again as soon as this is fixed! Please fix!

I really wanted to be able to use this app, but its always having to update its database even past the amount it originally states. So load 27,456 worth, but then it keeps loading past that? I guess its just not wanting to be usable. Too bad, it seemed so promising.

Its too bad that the majority of the bad reviews on this app are from self-centered pr!cks whove freaked out when a free service theyve utilized has one buggy update. This app has been a lifesaver, without a doubt.

Doesnt matter how long you wait the database doesnt refresh. It does have good info etc but I would use the website and forget the app until its fixed.

Launch app, app needs an update, crashes within seconds. Reviews dating back months reporting this and its still not fixed. ==update July 9, 2015== They fixed the app. It now opens and downloads a much smaller update. I was excited to finally use this app. Unfortunately the app is useless. It only scans products that are non gmo verified. Why is this a problem? Because anyone can SEE the non gmo verified labels on the packaging of those products! I dont need an app to tell me the product has the label because i can see that for myself. Any product that is not verified by them doesnt exist in their database making this app only useful for visually impaired people that cant see the label. Very disappointed, I cant see the purpose of this app.

Every time I try to use this app I get a message stating that a very large update needs to download and that I can follow the progress in the "about" page. The download begins and never ends. This happens every time I try to use it. Too bad. It seems like a nice idea.

The large refresh of the database loads about 67,000 products before the app crashes. When you restart the app, you get the same message telling you a large update is downloading and you should wait for it to finish before using the app. It then starts loading the update again from scratch. Repeat this process until you get frustrated, delete the app and vow to try it again next month.
